The SFX water stopper fits in front of the opening to the SFX filtration systems for Summer Waves pools to block water from pouring our of the pool while operating on the system (ie: changing filters, pumps, etc).

It will fit in the bottom of the skimmer I change to a larger pump and it works fine for me 

Desperately trying to figure out how to get this water stopper to stay in place, it won't stay on without holding it. Can anyone help? Thanks
Answer: Best way I have found is to put the stopper over the hole, hold it in place and let the water drain a bit. The pressure will hold it in place. It does not stop the water 100%. But it does take it down to just a trickle. 

Question: How does this stay on without holding it?
Answer: Water pressure holds it . It goes inside the pool where the water holds it in place.
