- When the lights are out in the room behind the curtain, it really looks like a door. 
  When lights are on behind it, it is rather see-through, but still acts as a screen. 
  Mounting hardware does require the use of screws, so to avoid damaging my frame, I used some no-damage hooks rated for the weight of the curtain. The hooks on the bar are kind of small, so it was a little tricky to find narrow hooks for the weight. People pass through the curtain several times a day, but after a whole month of use, it's still not showing any signs of distress.
