This is the first time I¡¦m actually adding pictures to the review as I do believe that picture worth a 1000 words. First ¡V the good: The curtain was nicely packed (in fact too nicely as it was almost impossible to pack it back to return) and it looks good when it¡¦s hung¡K until you get close that is.
First impression that I got when I unpacked it and got it out of the box is I wondered why all the pieces are so rough. I¡¦ve had a beaded curtain in the condo I lived when I was a kid and I remember all pieces were smooth and lacquered. This felt like they were painted with the brush or dipped in the paint and gotten out without any attempts to smooth the paint. At the closer look, it became evident that the paint was also uneven as far as coverage goes (or it started peeling off too soon).

As I was getting it out and trying to straighten it, I noticed how dirty my hands became. 

Thinking it was probably dust, I proceeded to hang and went looking for advertised ¡§mounting hardware¡¨. 
Well, the two tiny gold (GOLD???) hooks in a ziplock were it. 
When, at a later time, I asked the seller if that really what they meant by ¡§mounting hardware¡¨ they confirmed it, 
but suggested that I¡¦m welcome to use anything else I like if I¡¦m not happy with it.


The top bar which looks like a solid piece of wood on the pictures, turned out to be an unevenly put together 
bunch of thin planks with very rough and uneven paint and was hollow inside. As you can see, all the strands are 
uneven too ¡V granted, this is only visible when you get close. The flash, naturally, superimposes painting deficiencies,
so it doesn¡¦t look THAT bad in reality, but it does represent how bad this product is.


Once I manage to hang the curtain (not with their included ¡§hardware¡¨) I tried to wipe it with damp cloth. 
The picture shows the third (THIRD!!!) cloth and I only went through 3 strands. This is not shipping dust 
(as the seller suggested) I was washing off¡K that was paint. Naturally, walking by this curtain was a very 
uncomfortable experience as these dirty and scratchy strands were catching on all the clothing and hair.


Returning it was an experience of its own ¡V the thing wouldn¡¦t go into an original box no matter what I did and 
seller recommended making one box out of two (it came packed in two boxes). That took a good hour and a roll of packing
tape. I got very intrigued looks when I took it to UPS store and, due to it¡¦s hmm¡K ¡§unusual¡¨ sizing and dimensions, 
it cost $50 to send. Luckily, Amazon reimbursed me shipping, though the whole mess returning it took over a week and 
required me filing an A to Z claim.

Oh, and if you¡¦re actually hoping to get some privacy behind this curtain ¡V look elsewhere. 
It¡¦s a see-through

In short, I would probably not be just as upset if it was sold on Etsy as a hand made project, 
but this is not something that belongs on Amazon.
