I use this outside on my patio, it provides a nice screen and does not block the view. As an added bonus in makes a pleasant rustling sound when there is a breeze. It's been up for over a year and has stood up to the elements very well.

The product that I received did not resemble the picture; 1st, the beads are not golden brown, they are dull brown to dark brown and if I paid closer attention to the product description, I would have realized this. 2nd, the mounting top piece is painted with a horrible brown paint on three sides and it looks like crap, not the golden brown you see in the picture. I did cut the piece and mount it in my laundry room doorway, so obviously, I am keeping it, but I am going to sand the paint completely off and apply a golden wood stain. If this piece were in a store at $40 I would have never purchased, this is a $20 item....max. The pros are: it arrived intact, no damage and my wife likes it, go figure. Anyway, after I put a little work into it, it will be closer to the golden tone, just needs a little golden stain and polyurethane
